PRStudio is seeking junior level publicist with distinctive pitching and placement experience to work on Entertainment and Lifestyle accounts. Proven track record of making lists, writing results oriented pitch letters, natural eye for strategy and would be a good partner on a three person team taking lead on certain accounts and second on others.
We do marketing and pr for people and businesses in the creative industries. We do a lot of sponsorship activations and events as well as authors, celebrities and designers. Run by one of the top PR experts in the Entertainment and Lifestyle Industry.
Requirements:
- MUST KNOW AND BE PROFICIENT with CISION
- Microsoft Office 365 for PC POWERPOINT, EXCEL, WORD, SHAREPOINT
- Strong grammar and spelling/AP Style - great creative writer for PR
- Resourceful, considers themselves a leader - wants to lead accounts
- Social Media Savvy - iMovie, editing, Instagram, Twitter, Photoshop etc
- Able to manage Clear and consistent replies and support to heavy email management
- Ability to source through magazines and publications to do thorough client research and educate and teach the interns
- Updating Excel Spreadsheets and PowerPoint Presentations
- Handling account management from agendas, meeting notes, itineraries and memos
- Can successfully submit clients for HARO's, Events, Red Carpets, Speaking Opportunities, podcasts and the like and enjoy the fast pace of day of media coverage bookings for experts and tracking the news and helping create global experts and superstars.
- Can cover clients successfully at interviews
- Using Cision on a daily basis and curating all lists
- Client Media servicing, itineraries, and overseeing the PR assistant
1-3 years experience in an agency desk. Extremely familiar and adapted to the fast paced and constantly changing environment. Must know his/her way around Los Angeles, be resourceful, grounded, take direction well, considers him/herself a leader not a follower, is able to work partly remotely and travel if necessary with clients.
