How do I hire an Entertainment Public Relations Coordinator? PRStudio has a wonderful position open for a Part Time Entertainment Publicity Assistant. We are gearing up for Q4 and are excited for the work that is coming in. This is part time to full time because of the state of our industry and work from home necessities.
Must have a degree in public relations/writing/journalism/marketing and/or communications with some exposure and real work experience to and in the PR industry at a PR Agency. We will be doing interviews via Zoom, and corresponding writing samples and proficiency. The work will be done remotely, but you must have an address in Los Angeles, and plan to return at some point. This is a part time to full time position with hopes that as the industry starts to return to normal this person will become a salaried full time employee with full benefits.
Our candidate is a very creative and intuitive writer/thinker with insight into the Public Relations world who is:
• Adept at CISION lists - MUST MUST MUST
• Experience Microsoft Office 365 for PC preferred
• Adobe Creative Suite
• Exposure to Social Media Marketing
• Strong Creative Writer, Editing and Grammar
• Some experience in Agency Public Relations
• Submitting HARO (Help a Reporter Out) Pitches
• Writing POV's (great but not necessary, can teach)
This is a MID-Entry Level Position. Please send your resume, an idea of your relevant experience and availability. This is PART TIME to FULL TIME depending on work because of the PANDEMIC. Must have a residence in Los Angeles, however, can be living remotely at this time.
