Full Time Job
As Producer, your job is to ensure all our visual projects at Production Club are delivered on time and within budget. You will be the direct link and facilitator between the director and production team, always keeping them in the loop. It will be imperative to maintain and cultivate clear communication between all stakeholders; from the director and production staff to the artists and tech personnel. You will be responsible for keeping everyone up to date on their respective tasks and will work hands-on anywhere and everywhere needed to facilitate their execution. A strong project management skill set including task tracking, budget management and project delivery will be essential to this role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Keep proper and clear communication between all project stakeholders, especially director and production teams
-Gather, maintain, and organize all 3rd party information relating to the project
-Create detailed tracking and reporting for all production tasks
-Communicate externally with artists, partners, clients and freelancers when necessary
-Take responsibility for projects being completed in accordance with the pixel map and delivery specifications
-Keep production trackers up to date and accurate to all naming conventions, folder structures, and general organization
-Engage in research during downtime by looking for emerging artists on IG, Behance, Artstation and contact/build relationships with them
REQUIREMENTS:
-Have 3+ years' professional producer experience working on VFX, animation or at a related production studio (cinema or advertising --
experience are acceptable, but we will prioritize previous experience in technical environments)
-Be capable of expressing direction notes/feedback to artists in an understandable and direct way
-Ability to maintain a high level of organization in order to keep the project on track (spreadsheets, Dropbox, Slack, Google Docs,
deliverables etc.)
-Ability to demonstrate a deep understanding of the VFX pipeline
-Experience working with third-party vendors and providers
-Have experience with extended or untraditional teams (such as external partners or freelancers)
-Flexible schedule; The visuals team is international which requires working and maintaining aggressive schedules and delivery
requirements across multiple time zones
IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
-Overall familiarity and passion for digital media
-Knowledge of Photoshop, layers, color spaces, resolutions, frame rates, codecs, pixel maps, media servers, etc.
-Knowledge of a 3D pipeline (in terms of process timeline, production times, etc)
-Education on LogMeIn software
-Experience working with in-house render farm specialist (Render Wrangler) on any and all render issues
-Foundational knowledge of music (beats, bars, loops, tempo, etc.)
-Foundational knowledge of live events and/or musical performances
-Basic knowledge of Spanish
