Us Sports Research Principal, Prime Video Sports
We are looking for an experienced researcher who will conduct best-in-class qualitative and quantitative research techniques across Prime Video Sports. The Sports Team within Prime Video brings selection of live and on demand sports content to Amazon customers, including NFL Thursday Night Football, the WNBA, and New York Yankees games. This role be responsible for leading audience insights across current and prospective properties.
The ideal candidate is a data-driven thinker who is comfortable and enjoys solving problems with ambiguity. This individual will be comfortable juggling multiple priorities and working with stakeholders across different areas of Amazon (including, but not limited to Marketing, Programming, Partnerships, and Production). This candidate will need to assess internal customer needs and identify/design research to support these efforts.
Key job responsibilities
-Design research projects to understand customer wants/needs for Thursday Night Football and other properties
-Utilize a combination of first-party and third-party data to develop learnings and identify areas of improvement for the business
-Lead creative testing, qualitative/quantitative research design, and liaise with external vendors to support research needs
About the team
The Prime Video Sports Strategy and Research team leads analysis on who our current and potential sports customers are, what content and features are they interested in, and much more.

Qualifications
-10 years of research experience in the Media & Entertainment industry (preferably Sports)
-Proficient in Nielsen (NPower, NNTV, NLTV) and/or other related viewership tools (ComScore, Antenna, etc.)
-Experience working with and managing external research vendors
-Experience with quantitative/qualitative survey design
