We're seeking a modern day ''Yoda'' to be our visionary VP of Product Management for a cloud application that is virtualizing the content supply chain for the vast majority of entertainment companies, including Fox, Warner Bros, CBS A&E and Lionsgate. Your ''touch'' and ''vision'' will influence a product that will have a profound impact on the production, media processing, licensing and distribution of movies and Television as well as global delivery and servicing of digital entertainment for billions of people worldwide.
You can't go to the movie theater or turn on your TV without our flagship software platform most likely supporting the final entertainment product, whether it be a full length motion picture or a 30 minute reality show. Our flagship software CLEAR® is a cloud Media ERP platform and digital content servicing engine for companies who produce, distribute and license audio-visual and rich media content.
We're seeking a VP of Product Management that has worked with cloud platforms, ideally in a SaaS environment. If you've had some exposure to the entertainment industry or content management, that would be a big plus. We're seeking a product manager with BIG accomplishments and achievements in growing, expanding, building, enhancing, and impacting a company's success. Insight into the interworking of a broadcaster or movie studio is a big advantage.
You will partner with global regions to align on roadmaps and initiatives and be the central point of contact for executing, planning and prioritizing incremental product changes for all product work streams. You will prioritize the development of product features on a global scale, develop the business case for current and future features, conduct both an initial and on-going competitive analysis, seek out strategic partnerships and have lots of client contact.
Responsibilities
• Managing the product strategy and delivery, release management, and inspiring passion in others to drive both quality and innovation.
• Lead product management team of 8 people.
• Immediate task will be crafting and communicating a product roadmap and vision that exceeds the needs of a global customer base.
• Ongoing business requirements gathering and validation-role will be responsible for clearly articulating functional requirements for product roadmap.
• Managing and distributing for approval wireframes and UI/UX designs.
• Piloting and rolling out the platform with existing and new customers, including Customer Focus Groups.
• Bi-Annual Competitive Analysis-including SWOT Analysis.
• Working with all parts of the global organization to bring new products to market and ensuring that every major group in the Company understands what is necessary to properly sell and support the products.
• Evangelizing the products via white papers, webinars, blogs, videos, press interviews, trade shows, events, etc.
• Business Development: Work with Revenue Owners to create business partner strategies, revenue estimates, business justifications, pricing strategies and ROI for requested projects.
• Drive SDLC process.
Qualifications
• Over 7 years of product management experience.
• A BIG thinker with strong track record of creating world class customer experience in technology products.
• Demonstrated successful leadership and management of large-scale projects and programs spanning multiple teams. Preferably in a global environment.
• Deep understanding of technology and software development process is desirable.
• Ability to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing priorities.
• BS or MS in an engineering or technical discipline or equivalent experience in software industry preferred.
