Primary Wave (P.W.) is one of the largest independent music & entertainment talent management, music publishing and marketing companies in the United States, founded in 2006. P.W. creates marketing and branding strategies for its diverse roster of Music, Film, TV and Literary talent, through their six in-house operating divisions: Talent and Literary Management, Television/Film Development, Music Publishing, Recorded Music and Brand/Digital agencies, to help cross promote our artists and brand relationships. Under the Primary Wave umbrella, there are two core businesses, Primary Wave Music Publishing and the Talent Management Company, Primary Wave Entertainment.

In this dynamic role, working with our talent management and music publishing teams we will rely on you to oversee, create and promote our client's music through streaming initiatives. More specifically, responsibilities will include the following:
• Build creative music playlists for company artist and marketing initiatives
• Social media marketing, and the creation of marketing assets to drive awareness
• Using insights, analytics & consumer insights to inform effective playlisting initiatives, marketing & commercial decisions
• Work closely with internal talent management & publishing teams to develop and maximize opportunities

Qualifications:
• Passion for music and various genres
• Strong knowledge of music and catalogue repertoire
• Excellent technical skill set including Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience in social media marketing
• 1-2 years of experience with a music management company, publishing or record label
• Good understanding of consumer insights & segmentation practices
• Very good communication skills
