The Production Manager role works closely with our two Directors of Production to produce video content. The Production Team is a dynamic, all-hands-on-deck team with a unique and fast-paced workflow. The right candidate will have a mind for creative problem-solving and logistics, be adaptive, detail-oriented, and proactive, and be knowledgeable in video production. Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Under the guidance of the Directors, spearhead day-to-day production processes for PragerU shows, episodes of shows, or one-off projects. Provide logistics support and leadership, as well as contribute creatively.
• Assist with production of video shoots, including communications with guests, scheduling shoots, organizing & providing pre-production logistics, helping on set during filmings, and sending post-filming follow-up/release updates.
• Manage priority to-do lists for Directors, including keeping tabs on deadlines and project tracking. Work closely with Directors to manage priority lists for editors.
• Be a point person for vendors. Build relationships, kick off projects, communicate schedules, hold all parties accountable, and anticipate problems or delays.
• Perform content reviews and contribute creative feedback. Loop in appropriate managers for additional feedback and sign-off. Anticipate needs, timelines, and delays, and formulate solutions when problems arise.
• Develop an understanding of brand guidelines and maintain quality control standards.
• Assist with administrative duties such as booking travel, booking locations, preparing and updating meeting documents/spreadsheets, and researching possible guests or topics.
• Utilize and keep up to date company-wide databases for project tracking and information distribution.
• Help build and maintain department Standard Operating Procedure documents, oversee & collect proper presenter/guest paperwork and releases, and process reimbursements and payments
Requirements:
• 3-5 years experience in a Production-based role.
• An established understanding of Video Production processes, terminology, and personnel.
• A true Team Player, proactive, helpful, honest, and calm under pressure. This is a no-ego environment where no task is too small.
• Flexible and able to ''roll with the punches'' within an ever-changing game plan, and able to problem-solve on the fly.
• Top-notch organizational and time management skills. Able to juggle a wide variety of concurrent projects in different phases.
• Imperative to be able to communicate, prioritize, and self-manage.
• Highly professional and composed when engaging with a variety of people, and comfortable speaking with high-profile celebrities and personalities. Ready and able to positively represent the Production team and the company.
• Adhere to established processes and structures, and able to think critically and make suggestions for improvements when required.
• Willing and able to take direction from different leaders but also bring his/her ideas and thoughts to the table.

• Some traveling may be required, including flying or driving for long stretches of time.
