Part Time Unpaid Internship
Boutique entertainment publicity firm is seeking energetic reliable intern with excellent communication & telephone skills, the ability to multi-task and good follow through abilities. Duties may include assisting with general office business, faxing, answering phones, filing, assembling press materials, working on special projects and event coverage.
*Seeking an organized and enthusiastic individual
*Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Cision, and basic PC skills
*Individual who is prudent, assertive, and extremely professional
*Works with limited direction and garner results.
Responsibilities may Include, but, not limited to:
*Building Social media marketing on Facebook, Instagram. YouTube and Twitter, etc.
*Draft press materials including media alerts and press releases
*Maintaining database of media contacts, stylists, editors, etc.
*Monitoring and archiving product placement in publications
*Searching media outlets - print, radio, web, etc. for placement
*Proactive go-getter who is willing to be hands-on
*Ability to multi-task and work both independently and within a group
*Reliable, detail-oriented and extremely motivated
*Internet research experience and all social media knowledge
*Knowledgeable about pop culture, music, sports, fashion & beauty,
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must
*Minimum of 3-5 days
*Commitment of at least three months
*Must have their own laptop
*Knowledge and prior experience in entertainment PR a plus; but not required
UNPAID College Internship
