This is a Part Time Job

To support our mission, we are looking for a part-time Game Night Communications Assistant to join our team! In this role, you'll nerd out over stats and get a close-up of the behind the scenes at a Trail Blazer's game. In this position, you'll focus on crafting extraordinary moments while ensuring a seamless game experience for broadcasters, media and our communications team.
You are ideal for this opportunity if you display the energy and authenticity of Rip City and understand what it means to be professional as a representative of the Trail Blazers brand.
You will be responsible for:
• Supporting and assisting the Basketball Communications team on game nights.
• Displaying stellar customer service by assisting media with any of their needs.
• Preparing and arranging game night media operations which could include labeling seating charts, credentials, media work room, and press room.
• Running stats and documents to media and broadcasters in-game.
• Making copies of game night materials for the media.
• Gathering, transcribing and distributing post-game quotes from players and coaches.
• Occasionally researching and writing stats and other tasks.
• Assisting with media packet assembly and distribution.
• Performing other tasks as assigned.
You are qualified if:
• You are able to work all Trail Blazers home games, with few exceptions.
• You possess a valid Driver's License because you may need to run the occasional errand.
• You can focus on tasks, without being easily distracted by game action, players, coaches, broadcast personnel, fans, and other performance team members, etc.
• You possess excellent communication and customer service skills.
• You know all there is to konw about the game of basketball.
• You eat details for breakfast - nothing gets past you.
• You love working in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful, & dynamic working environment.
• You are quick on your feet and demonstrate good problem solving and decision-making skills.
• You have a roll up your sleeves attitude - you're happy to help out and lend a hand.
