While our product is currently in beta, we are significantly outperforming industry standards, and we're now looking to supercharge our growth and increase our velocity as we gear up to launch PortalOne out into the world.

That's Where You Come In:
Hybrid games mean that we host shows inside our games platform, with our first show - The Arcade Show - taking place inside the PortalOne app several times a week. During the show, players compete against a special guest, with the chance to win real prizes. Each Arcade Show is about 15 minutes long.

We are looking for an assistant to help us manage our games community on various channels and during our shows. This role entails providing live chat moderation during the shows and acting as a go-between between our community and internal teams. You will be supported by our internal communications team and our Community Manager and will work alongside other Social Media Assistants.

Your Challenge:
Your tasks will include:
• Moderating and participating on behalf of PortalOne in the live chat during the shows broadcasted inside the PortalOne app. You will be responsible for hyping up our players' gameplay and scores, our hosts and guests, as well as providing helpful information for players with any questions during the show.
• Communicate as a representative of PortalOne in our social media communities by:
• Sharing feedback from our community of players with internal teams
• Responding to inquiries from players on our various channels, primarily Facebook and Discord

Who You Are:
We are looking for someone available 1-2 hours per day, 4-7 days per week. If you would describe yourself as the following, we would love to hear from you!
• A great communicator: someone who is passionate and gets along well with others. You will be very comfortable with social interactions both in-person and online.
• Full-working proficiency and fluency in English. You will discuss work-related tasks with PortalOne team members in both verbal and written form in English and will be required to communicate with players during our shows in English.
• Strong interest or experience (personal or professional) across social media, games, and/or streaming.
• Calm under pressure, with the ability to recognize and work out potential community issues.
• Familiarity with Facebook and Discord.
• Some experience with community management, whether it's managing your own community (e.g., Facebook group) or being an active part in other communities is a bonus.
• Some knowledge about the games industry is a plus.

About the Job:
The job will require you to work approximately 1 hour per day. Work hours will be centered around our daily show at 18:00 PT / 21:00 ET each day.
Compensation: $20 USD per hour
Contract: This position is a temporary role for three months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and business needs.
Location: Remote - This position is a remote role, allowing the selected candidate to work from any location, provided they have a stable internet connection, the necessary mobile device and laptop, and are available during scheduled work hours
Requirements: The selected candidate for this role will be required to have access to a mobile device and laptop as essential tools for carrying out job responsibilities.
