Pop-Up Magazine Productions Brand Studio is looking for a Production Coordinator to support all aspects of securing, managing, and executing brand studio creative (across print, digital, video, and onstage) while also organizing the day-to-day logistics of the studio team. Creativity, organizational skills, and a desire to promote the growth of Pop-Up Magazine Productions amongst corporate audiences and partners is critical to this role. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who thinks ahead to keep trains running and clients happy. The ideal candidate will also possess strong project management instincts and know what it takes to produce successful, outside-the-box branded content that's also top-notch storytelling.
Responsibilities May Include:
Managing the brand studio
Creating and keeping schedules for brand studio projects throughout all phases of production, including sponsored content in print (The California Sunday Magazine), onstage (Pop-Up Magazine), and special branded projects for clients with print, animation, video, and digital products.
Maintaining the post production workflow and delivery schedule
Hiring freelance writers, producers, designers, filmmakers, editors etc. and requesting bids
Overseeing contracts, invoices and payment for freelancers
Researching costs of materials and production services for proposals
Tracking budget for brand studio projects and working with producers to complete projects on time and under budget
Assisting with brand studio production onsite during live events (runner)
QC and package deliverables/assets for brand partners and seasonal PUM tour
Maintenance and organization of team Google Drive, files and archives
Inventory and purchasing of all studio equipment
Working with Sales Account Coordinator on show logistics
Talent/client management - travel, meals, comps etc
Set up meetings with editorial director and producers
Basic Qualifications:
At least 2-4 years experience producing multi-platform content (digital, audio, film)
1-2 years client facing experience at a publication, production company or agency
Familiar with branded content and the brand partnership marketing industry
Basic understanding of contracts, union & non-union crews, rights & clearances
Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure in a voluminous deadline-oriented department.
Must be flexible - an ability to work well in an environment where needs and priorities are subject to much revision.
Computer and technology literate - expert in GoogleDrive, Excel, Dropbox, Keynote and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Asana, PipeDrive, ClickUp, QLab, Adobe Suite (especially Premiere, Illustrator and Photoshop), FinalCut.
Basic graphic design skills a plus
Video editing skills a plus

Pop-Up Magazine is a live magazine, a night of new, live-scored, multimedia stories performed by writers, radio producers, photographers, and filmmakers at large theaters across the country, like Lincoln Center and BAM Howard Gilman Opera House in New York, Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco, the Paramount Theatre in Oakland, and the Theatre at Ace Hotel in Los Angeles.
