Job Requirements:
Podium Audio is looking for a superstar Junior Marketing Manager to join the company's lean & mean marketing team. They will report directly to the Head of Strategic Marketing and Senior Marketing Manager, indirectly to the Creative Director. Job responsibilities will include:
-Podium Audio channel management: Maintain the Podium Audio wordpress website: new title listing QA & posting, homepage content curation, blog writing, news section updates, author/performer profile updates, and analytics reporting; assist the Senior Marketing manager in the company's promo calendar management and syndication of content via Podium Audio socials/channels
-Social media / content coordination: Develop and maintain the content calendars, posting schedules, email newsletters and fan engagement for 2-5 select voice artists and top authors' digital channels.
-Copywriting: Edit audiobook work descriptions, draft key selling points in presentations, pen attention-getting website headlines and social media copy, and develop blog and newsletter verbiage.
-Asset QC and optimization: Help QC all marketing assets as well as optimize or adjust assets using Canva and/or photoshop.
-PR coordination: Help develop Podium Audio's BookTok, Bookstagram, BookTube influencer strategy, then ''own'' the day-to-day execution: developing the list of target influencers, messaging them with upcoming releases, coordinating code & other merch giveaways / care packages.
Qualifications:
-Bachelor's degree required
-Coordinator and/or junior level experience developing, managing and growing social media accounts and/or websites/email CRM
-Platform proficiency (or demonstrated ability to become proficient very quickly): Zoom, GSuite, Microsoft PPT, Slack, Airtable, Photoshop, Canva, Facebook / Business Manager / Ads Manager, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, Discord, TikTok, Snapchat, GoodReads, Mailchimp (no consumer-facing digital platform should be a challenge to ''master'' quickly)
-Highly organized: able to efficiently manage multiple projects, maintain calendars and hit key dates.
-A deft typo-catcher, proofreader, bug smasher.
-Adept sense of humor that (when appropriate) will come across in their copywriting and comms.
-Intuitive communication skills: internally with colleagues and externally with top authors, voice actors and partners.
-Proclivity toward creative collaboration, with ability to take constructive criticism in stride.
-Desire to have fun, be nerdy and enjoy working in a warm yet fast-paced culture.
-Emerging leadership skills: willing to go above and beyond - no task is too big or too small.
-Must be willing to work in office 3x days / week (El Segundo), working remotely from home 2x days
