Publicist, Entertainment (Film - Junior Publicist)
The PMK*BNC Los Angeles Film Department is seeking a junior level Publicist to complement their robust team and assist on various theatrical, corporate entertainment, digital platform/content campaigns and awards.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Create and execute strategic and results-driven publicity campaigns for clients including studios, production companies, individual projects for theatrical film and digital platforms
• Plan and spearhead press events
• Pitch panels and place stories with broadcast, print, radio and online press
• Secure asset premieres (trailers, clips, exclusive content, etc)
• Create e-mail blasts and help maintain the master press database
• Tracking of all media coverage
• Keeping client reports cohesive and up-to-date
• Work cohesively as part of project teams; as well as staying proactive to the tasks assigned
Required Experience and Skills:
• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years experience in either an agency or studio setting.
• Expertise and experience in all aspects of film/content publicity
• Passion to stay ahead of curve in the expanding entertainment landscape
• Bachelor's Degree required
• Strong writer, editor, and proofreader
• Excellent phone demeanor
• Detail oriented and extremely organized
• Works well under pressure
• Collaborative and entrepreneurial attitude
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and switch projects as needed
• Willing to work events evenings and weekend as needed
