Obsessed with TV? Wanna write/create/talk about it with the best damn brand in TV journalism, period? TVLine is looking for an intern to join and learn from our editorial team in the New York office.
Daily responsibilities involve writing news stories and lists, assisting with research and fact-checking, contributing to a wide range of editorial projects and widening your education as you get hands-on experience in pitching stories, finding sources, reporting, editing and more.
Our ideal candidate has: impeccable reporting skills; experience writing for publication; an eagerness to learn; and a desire to be an invested, driven contributor to our site. If you’ve got an understanding of and passion for journalism, a commitment to accuracy and a flair for originality and style, we want to hear from you! Please include links to two or three writing samples or clips somewhere in your application.
This is a paid, 24-hour/week, 12-week internship with a start date beginning first week of June. All applicants must live and work in New York for the duration of the internship to be considered.
This internship is paid at $16.50/hour.
