Deadline, the authoritative source for breaking news in the entertainment industry, is adding a Sales Planner to staff in our West Los Angeles offices. We are seeking a coordinator with a positive attitude, who prides themselves on being a team-player and is always willing to learn. The ideal candidate will have an immense attention to detail, excellent writing and communication skills and works well under pressure to meet deadlines. Strong MS Office skills, data entry skills, G-Suite, Salesforce and pleasant telephone demeanor are a requirement.
Primary Responsibilities
• Assist sales executives with booking print and digital campaigns in Salesforce and PIO for Deadline, Gold Derby, TVLine, and DIRT
• Manage organization/communication of each campaign
• Handle all communication with clients and agencies for pre-sale support and post-sale follow-up of deliverables, including asset collection/creative swaps
• Generate media plans, RFPs, and insertion orders
• Liaise with Ad Operations and Digital Support teams on digital campaigns, as well as Editorial on print/newsletter campaigns
• Manage inventory calendars and docs for digital, print, and event campaigns
• Coordinate newsletter/video/podcast sponsorships across Deadline and TVLine
• Arrange setup of new digital products with Ad Operations and Business Development teams
• Assist with routing of marketing/art materials to internal staff
• Track advertisers' artwork for print and digital
• Create screenshot decks for current and future campaigns
• Coordinate mailings of publications to advertisers
• Track weekly aging reports and communicate issues with sales
• Perform quality assurance checks on digital ads daily for live campaigns
• Process payments from advertisers for events campaigns
• Create sales presentations and research as needed
• Ad hoc projects as needed
