Full Time Job
Penske Autosport, one of the founding teams of the FIA Formula E World Championship, is hiring a Business Development Manager to work directly with the team’s Commercial Director. This role requires extensive, year-round, international travel including Mexico City, Sao Paulo, Monaco, and others; the bulk of the travel is December to July.
The Business Development Manager will develop and manage a pipeline of clients looking to brand and activate around a global audience and a sustainability message. She/he will also work directly with existing partners to ensure event-by-event deliverables and overall client satisfaction.
The Business Development Manager will also be responsible for developing collateral sales material, syncing website with partnerships updates and ensuring branding obligations are fulfilled in and on all messaging pathways.

Primary Responsibilities:
• Identify and vet new leads in key endemic and non-endemic verticals.
• Initiate outreach with new prospects and key industry targets.
• Generate collateral and pitch materials for interested partners.
• Prepare sales presentations for potential clients.
• Emphasis on building partner direct relationships.
• Liaise with partners for event deliverables and activation fulfillment.
• On-site partner activation activities management and coordination.
Requirements:
• Sales and business development experience.
• Experience in building client-direct relations.
• Interest and experience in the motorsports and/or event sector.
• An analytical and strategic mindset.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
• Must be client service oriented.
• Available to work weekends and available for international travel.
Typical wage range: $70k - $80k annual discretionary bonus. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits.
