PMC: Marketing Project Manager

Penske Media Corp. (PMC), home to iconic brands like Rolling Stone, Variety, Billboard, The Hollywood Reporter, Dick Clark Productions, Robb Report, WWD, and many more, is seeking a Marketing Project Manager to join our Strategic Solutions Group. This role plays a vital part in driving client success by overseeing seamless execution of campaigns, coordinating across internal teams, and delivering outstanding results for key accounts. PMC is hiring a Marketing Project Manager within the Strategic Solutions Group responsible for creating and executing go-to-market strategies for Penske Media across key industry verticals. Based in our West LA headquarters, we are seeking a Marketing Project Manager who is entrepreneurial, self-directed, and creative, who prides themselves on their writing and storytelling skills. As the ideal candidate, you should have a passion for the ever-evolving digital marketing landscape and a drive to create and execute campaigns that make an impact.

Additionally, the ideal candidate will ensure campaigns are executed efficiently, performance is accurately analyzed, and strategic opportunities for growth are identified. This role emphasizes operational excellence, fostering collaboration, and optimizing workflows to enhance the client experience and align with business objectives. The Project Manager will contribute to marketing initiatives, including strategy development, thought leadership, and advancing industry excellence.

What You’ll Do:
• Strategic Marketing Solutions: Possess a deep understanding of PMC’s unique selling proposition and translate it into creative marketing strategies positioning PMC as an innovative, industry expert within digital media and data solutions. Build and maintain a strong knowledge of Penske Media’s brands and advertising solutions.
• Marketing Collaboration: Support marketing initiatives by contributing to thought leadership efforts, planning and executing industry events, and aligning on overarching marketing strategies that elevate client engagement and brand visibility across the PMC portfolio. Brainstorm with internal teams to garner the most creative and strategic media plans, targeting and campaign recommendations.
• Project Management: Coordinate and oversee all aspects of account deliverables, including post-wrap reports, campaign performance analysis and meeting brand expectations.
• Account Management: Serve as the main point of contact for clients pre, during and post-campaign execution, fostering strong relationships to ensure customer success.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by managing client hospitality and engagement needs.
• Team Integration: Collaborate with internal brand and corporate teams–sales, marketing, creative, and research–to align on deliverables and provide seamless support for client initiatives.
• Performance Monitoring: Develop insights from campaign data and reports to share with clients, reinforcing the value of their partnership (e.g., QBRs, mid-campaign reporting).
• Revenue Support: Identify opportunities for client expansion while maintaining day-to-day campaign oversight.
• Industry Engagement: Coordinate with Marketing on overall needs on the execution of industry events and strategic initiatives including planning, logistics, and overall success.

Requirements:
• 3–4 years of experience in marketing, project management, or account management with a focus on high-value clients.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills, with a customer-focused mindset.
• Proficiency in creating visually engaging presentations and campaign reports using tools like PowerPoint (Canva a plus).
• Experience with digital media, branded content, and campaign performance analysis (experience with tools like comScore is a plus).
• Ability to interpret research data to provide actionable client insights.
• Passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences and supporting team growth.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities, organize time effectively, complete assignments on time and follow-up with strong attention to detail.
• Self-directed with excellent time management skills.

As PMC values in-person collaboration and team cohesion, employees work onsite 4 days a week and 1 day remotely with a focus on maintaining a vibrant and inclusive culture.

Typical wage range: $75K - $90K annual bonus. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits.
