This is a Full Time Job
Fairchild Media Group's dynamic studio team in New York City is looking for a versatile Producer / Editor with top-notch technical and people skills Our ideal candidate must be comfortable working independently and able to meet deadlines with short turn-around times. This is a full-time position with significant advancement opportunities at one of today’s fastest-growing media companies.
Responsibilities:
• Shooting events and red carpets
• Shooting and editing studio segments with talent.
• Archiving & organizing video material
• Editing 3-5 videos per week (editorial & sometimes branded content).
• Editing segments for web and broadcast delivery
• Technical Requirements/Software Knowledge: Adobe Premiere Adobe, After Effects, Sony Ex-3 or Similar Canon EOS Cinema Cameras Other
Requirements:
• 2 to 3 years of experience in a related role
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally
• Superb general troubleshooting skills and strong attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent listening skills, and the ability to adjust to the personalities of various partners
• Strong project management, organization, and prioritization skills
• Ability to multitask with effective resolution management in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Some knowledge of the fashion and entertainment industry
