DCP is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist for Live Events, Festival and Alternative. This position will be a key strategic partner to the Lead Production Accountant in the execution of production plans and show budgets. They will be instrumental in assisting the Lead Accountant, processing vendor payments, maintaining accurate accounting records and adhering to generally accepted procedures for all production vendors operations and payments.
Responsibilities:
• Assist with accounts payable and vendor management including w-9 verification, ACH and wire set up, bank account verification, filing, scanning and research.
• Reconcile Cashet/P-Cards, Brex, and AMEX accounts.
• Communicate between production, vendors, employees, corporate accounting & finance teams
• Interface with production crew to answer questions and problem solve AP/vendors/PO issues in a timely and constructive manner
• Assist with production audits, prior year clean up, annual 1099 reporting and residuals (domestic/international).
Qualifications and Experience:
• Knowledge of payment processing cycle
• Knowledge of standard Accounting and Financial practices
• Knowledge of Live Event production processes a plus
• Knowledge of accounting, production finance (Cast & Crew, EP, Extreme Reach), Microsoft applications required; and Cashet experience is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently, manage your time and handle a high volume of work
Salary range: $75K-85K. Factors that could be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, years of experience and comparison to current employees already in this role. The typical candidate is hired below midpoint of the range. The total compensation package for this position will also include other elements, a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off benefits.
