Overview and Responsibilities
At Pluto, we've built a leading ad supported streaming platform that blends the experience of linear television with groundbreaking digital technologies. The Engineering Manager of Services will be a key Full-stack Software Development Leader of a new and improved advanced server side software (performance intensive) for our video services on mobile, web and TV platforms.
Basic Qualifications
• Experience with video formats and protocols, content management (video content rights management)
• Knowledge of database systems such as SQL, AWS for content management and ingest
• Recent experience using Node Mongo Express Canjs (we are moving to React)
• Experience with as much of our technology stack as possible: Node.JS, Javascript, React, Express, Hapi.JS, Redis, MongoDB, Git, AWS, Swift, Java, Brightscript, HTML
• Extremely technical hands-on software experience
