IP Enforcement Specialist

Under the direction of the General Counsel and Playboy's external Intellectual Property Law Firm, this position is responsible for helping manage all aspects of US and foreign trademark prosecution; domain name registration and maintenance; and assist with trademark and copyright enforcement. This position will interact internally with all of the divisions and externally with outside counsel and business partners.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

. First Contact for Infringement including ,Event Protocol, Online Infringement and Product Identification/Affidavit Process (working with Product Licensing)

. Manage Global License Recordals

. Interface with CT Corp to get documents Legalized/Apostilled

. Identification of Counterfeit Products or Gray Market Goods

. Track Down Evidence of Use for Enforcement/Prosecution

. Monitor infringement on Twitter/Facebook/Other Social Media Platforms in liaison with Venable

. Manage relationship with Brandstock in liaison with Venable

. Manage relationship with Watchdog in liaison with Venable

. Monitor the CSC Domain Reports and Manage Playboy's Domain Portfolio (interact with Manwin Brand Manager, Business Owners for registrations)

. Send C&D for domain names and DMCAs for copyright infringement in liaison with Venable

. Communicate with Talent on requests related to their signed releases and request for content removal

. Work with I.T. on making DNS changes for Partner websites

. File copyright for Playboy Magazine, manage and track copyright process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

. 1-3 years solid trademark, domain name and copyright portfolio experience, required.

. Advanced experience with Internet research and social media platforms, required.

. Advanced Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), required.

. Advanced written communication skills

. Strong organizational skills with extreme attention to details.

. Knowledge of domain and IP related software/tools; Brandstock, Watchdog, CPI a strong plus.
