Digital Asset Coordinator

This is a Full Time Job

Under the direction of the Director, TV Production this position is responsible for assisting on all special projects for Playboy TV, Spice Digital Networks and VOD. This position interacts with long form, On-Line, Scheduling and BFI staff.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Must have basic creative and proficient technical editing capability using Final Cut Pro in both HD and SD formats.
2. Traffic coordination of masters and digital files required for monthly concatenation of all scheduled VOD product. Maintain accurate and up to date records using excel and other in-house trafficking systems (IBMS).
3. Responsible for assembling and delivering all digital VOD assets on a timely basis via DVD, Hard Drive, Drop Boxes etc.
4. Assist in maintaining and organizing digital library of all Playboy and Spice assets.
5. Manage media projects on Final Cut Pro workstation, internal servers, share folders and FTP sites.
6. Other duties as needed.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS:
College degree or equivalent, with a minimum of one-year experience in television post production is a must. Experience in on-line editing with Final Cut Pro 6 is essential. Ability to create digitize media, make QuickTime files, mpegs, burn CD’s, author DVD’s, black and encode tapes, clean off drives. Familiar with all dub room equipment including VTR’s, digital patching systems and routers. Proficient in Excel and Word.
Must work well under pressure, be very detail oriented and meet tight deadlines with the ability to prioritize multiple, simultaneous projects
