Music Business Marketing Intern

This is a Part Time Unpaid Internship

Major Recording Studio seeks a Marketing intern interested in the music business.
*We expect to hire within the next two weeks. Deadline for resume submissions is February 15th 2010!

Duties will include, but not limited to:
• Supporting management with marketing efforts.
• Supporting studio personnel with day-to-day administration.
• Handling phones.
• Collaborating with other interns and studio staff.
• Minimal filing.
• Independent projects may be assigned, supervised by a manager.


Candidate should:

• be Macintosh literate.
• MS Word and Excel is a must. Knowledge of iCal and google calendar a plus.
• have excellent phone skills.
• be able to handle high-pressure situations.
• be a superb multi-tasker.
• have great instinct with prioritizing tasks.
• be self-motivated and time-efficient.
• have superb organizational and communication skills (both oral and written).
• must be detail-oriented and flexible.
• must be a TEAM PLAYER and a quick learner.
• have a professional demeanor and able to handle confidential / sensitive information.
• have an outstanding attitude and an eagerness to learn.
