The Mission Ahead:

Under the supervision of the Head of Production and in close collaboration with the VFX Supervisor, the VFX Producer is responsible for the production schedule and budget for their assigned show. You're a planning ninja, always one step ahead of potential project challenges, foreseeing any scheduling or budgeting issues that may arise and anticipating potential client changes. Ultimately, you are responsible for bringing the visual effects of the project in on time and on budget to the client's satisfaction as well as participating in the cost evaluation and bidding of potential projects.

Day-to-Day, You'll Accomplish:
• Cost estimation, bidding, and generating of reports for Finance
• Interaction with clients, leading the production team, managing project budgets, resourcing and scheduling
• Demonstrating strong leadership qualities
• Negotiating rates and keeping hold of bookings
• Developing and coordinating overall project schedules
• Monitoring project progress, acting accordingly to ensure project completion and quality as scheduled and within budget parameters
• Participation in weekly show status meetings
• Reviewing of project contracts
• Meeting budget and delivery deadlines
• Playing a proactive, key role in marketing PIXOMONDO's services to the industry

Your Track Record:
• 5 years' work experience in production with extensive knowledge of post-production techniques and terminology
• Oversaw as producer on a minimum of 2 productions from start to finish
• Excellent skills in problem solving and communication with the ability to quickly assess relevant information and make effective decisions, both in-person and in writing.
• Must be a detail oriented, proactive and well organized individual and able to grow and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Experience as a hands-on producer, willing to balance and offer professional expertise with values such as integrity, forward-thinking, and team-spirit
• Patient and willing to instruct and coach team-members. Understanding the limitations of your knowledge and seeking expert advice when appropriate
• Acute understanding of post-production processes
• Experience with Shotgun software is a must

• Must be located in British Columbia and eligible to work in Canada
