Senior Asset Generalist (short contract)
We are currently seeking a Senior Asset Generalist to work on a project with our Toronto studio. This is 4-6 week contract.
Responsibilities:
• Creating realistic 3D models and textures and shading ensuring balance of technical requirements within our pipeline and the quality standards we are known for at Pixomondo.
• Working closely with the team and CG Supervisors to help plan and create assets
• Ensuring execution of the desired look and feel
• Ensuring assets devilled on time and optimized for performance
• Trouble shoot asset related issues, during render phases
• Support junior artists and provide guidance
Requirements
• 5 years working experience in Modeling/texturing/shading
• Knowledge in Maya, ZBrush, Substance, Mari, Arnold
• Knowledge of Houdini and Solaris a plus.
• Knowledge of creature/character asset creation a plus.
• Problem-solving skills; including the ability to work under tight deadlines
• Excellent attention to detail and desire to deliver consistently high quality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A strong Demo Reel showing artistic sensibility, and creative problem solving
• Ability to work within a strong team environment, and willingness to share knowledge
• Experience in creation of layouts and modular assets for large scale environments, would be plus
Additional Requirements:
• Must live in Ontario and already be eligible to work in Canada. It is not possible to provide work visa or relocation assistance for this position.
