We've a great new opportunity for an experienced Production Accountant to join our team here at Pixomondo. You will work closely with the Jr. Production Accountant, Controller and Production teams, ensuring accurate reporting of the financial elements of Production.
Responsibilities include:
• Perform cost analysis of bids and projects using SAP and Excel partnering with the Production team
• Create projects in SAP as needed adhering to PXO's approval process flow
• Prepare payroll and time log reconciliation, bi-weekly for review and distribute to producers
• Month end labour accruals and reconciliation
• Support in weekly project reports
• Month end revenue recognition and commentary with Group finance
• Reconciliation of accrued/ deferred income and revenue allocations
• Prepare Labour and Revenue forecasts for projects, on a bi-weekly basis evaluating the impact of any production changes
• Prepare Studio P&L Report bi-weekly to be reviewed with management
• Support year-end close, budgeting and forecasting processes
• Support in annual audits & maintain necessary documentation
• Ad-hoc reporting, ability and eagerness to quickly pick up new tasks and projects as required
Experience and Attributes:
• Business/accounting/financial degree or equivalent qualification
• 3-4 years relevant work experience
• Advanced Microsoft excel skills and the ability to create and work in complex financial models
• Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office
• VFX industry knowledge desirable but not essential
• SAP knowledge desirable but not essential
• Natural inclination to problem solve and analyse financial information
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines
• Motivated by a challenge/problem and with an ability to problem solve
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced ever changing environment
• Ability to focus on completion of tasks in a timely manner to meet deadlines
• Excellent communicator, written and verbal
• Inquisitive and proactive approach to work
