Job title: Marketing and Comms Executive
Reports to: Head of Pre-Production
Location: UK- Hybrid working (minimum 2 days in a London Studio)
Purpose
The Marketing Executive works across PXO's marketing channels including website, social media, print and all internal and external comms. They ensure the timely delivery of materials, content, reports, and effective communication between departments to create marketing campaigns which deliver ROI.
They take ownership of and evaluate marketing campaigns and optimisation metrics to ensure campaigns are effective and on brand.
Key Responsibilities:
• In collaboration with Head of Pre-Production, manage all sales and marketing campaigns
• Schedule campaigns effectively and in line with project release dates, industry and internal news and events
• As part of the marketing wrap procedure, liaise with production and creative teams for timely delivery of project assets
• Create content for PXO website and social platforms
• Maintain PXO website to enhance user experience and drive SEO
• With the videographer, plan shoot days for capturing marketing assets
• Coordinate staff participation at industry events
• Represent the marketing team at industry events (where possible)
• Coordinate awards submissions
• Maintain library of marketing assets
• Design and distribute internal and external newsletters
• Analyse and utilise Salesforce (CRM) database for marketing campaigns, reporting and increasing customer retention
• Maintain PXO brand guidelines in all marketing initiatives and campaigns
• Conduct market research, including the creation, sourcing and utilisation of key focus groups and questionnaires.
• Liaise with finance to add new vendors and process invoices
• Liaise with clients to obtain marketing asset approvals
• Liaise with journalists to provide content and assets for editorial
Sales:
• Track competitor activity
• Track client and industry trends
• Provide activity reports to the global sales team
• Attend weekly sales meetings
• Leverage marketing tools to provide analytics to drive sales
Qualifications and requirements:
• 2 years minimum experience in a similar marketing role
• Previous VFX/Animation industry experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of marketing concepts and principles
• Excellent copywriting, editing and proofreading skills
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
• Previous working knowledge of content management systems and automated marketing software preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• In-depth understanding of digital and social marketing best practices
• Fluent level of English, both spoken and written
• A hands-on attitude and a can-do nature
