PXO has seven studios and three LED volumes in the US, UK, Germany and Canada.

At PXO we are seeking an experienced FX Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the FX department and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality FX work for our projects. The FX Supervisor will collaborate closely with other departments to ensure the FX work is integrated seamlessly into the final product.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise the FX team and provide technical guidance and support
• Ensure the FX work is delivered on time and to a high standard
• Collaborate with FX leads and other departments to integrate the FX work seamlessly into the final product
• Work with the production team to develop project schedules and budgets for FX work • Manage the pipeline and workflow for the FX department
• Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the latest FX techniques and software
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to the FX work
• Collaborate with the VFX Supervisor to ensure a cohesive overall look and feel for the project
• Ensure the FX work is consistent with the creative vision for the project

Requirements:
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in FX for film, TV, or games
• Strong technical skills and experience with industry-standard FX software (e.g., Houdini, Maya, Nuke, etc.)
• Experience supervising a team of FX artists
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to find solutions to technical issues
• A strong eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• The ability to work well under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
• A willingness to collaborate with other departments and to be a team player
• A passion for FX and a desire to stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and techniques
