HTML & CSS Specialist - Innovation Labs (5-month contract)
About the Role
Pixomondo's Innovation Department is seeking a highly skilled HTML & CSS Specialist to help refine and expand the front-end of our next-generation web platform. You'll work closely with our product designers and engineering team to bring complex layouts to life with clean, maintainable, and pixel-perfect code.
This role is ideal for someone who has an exceptional eye for design fidelity and a deep understanding of modern front-end practices. You'll help unify our layout structure, clean up existing templates, and ensure our UI aligns seamlessly with our Figma designs and internal component library.
Key Responsibilities
• Audit and refine existing HTML templates for semantic correctness, structure, and maintainability.
• Develop new HTML layout and partial templates based on approved Figma designs.
• Apply and extend our existing CSS utility library to achieve precise, pixel-perfect visual alignment.
• Collaborate with UX designers, back-end developers, and product managers to ensure consistent front-end architecture.
• Participate in code reviews and provide guidance on best practices for responsive, accessible markup.
• (Nice-to-have) Contribute to automated front-end testing using Playwright to ensure interface consistency.
Requirements
• 3 years of professional experience in HTML and CSS development for production-grade web platforms.
• Mastery of modern CSS techniques (Flexbox, Grid, utility-first frameworks, responsive design).
• Strong understanding of semantic HTML5 and accessibility standards (ARIA, WCAG).
• Proven ability to translate Figma or similar design files into precise, production-ready layouts.
• Experience working in component-based environments (template partials, modular layout systems).
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while aligning with larger team objectives.
• (Bonus) Experience writing Playwright tests or similar end-to-end UI test frameworks.
