Experienced Vue Artist

Pixeldust Studios is looking for a very talented, experienced 3D Animator and visual effects artist with extensive knowledge of Vue.

This position requires at least 3 years of previous 3D animation and or visual effects experience. The ideal candidate will have an award-winning portfolio and an impressive design reel.

This is a contract position for one month. You must be able to work on-site in the Washington, DC area (Bethesda).

At Pixeldust, our main focus is in producing award-winning 3D animation that may include show graphic packages, promos, interstitials, logos and effects-driven animations and graphics, etc.

Requirements:

• Must be a strong artist with complete knowledge in Vue, Adobe After Effects or Nuke.
• Must be able to create design boards for animation and establish look and feel for projects (per criteria)
• Experience with Maya,
• Strong knowledge of standard graphic design software (Photoshop and Illustrator)
• Output high quality work
• Detail-oriented
• Understanding and experience with motion graphics
• Ability to meet fast-turnaround deadlines on time or early
• Strong work ethics
• Ability to perform and participate in a dynamic team environment
• Communicate clearly
• Organized and able to follow instructions accurately and professionally
• Excellent problem solving ability
• Fluent English, written and spoken
