As the Linux Production Support Manager, you will lead a team of hard-working systems engineers to build outstanding technology experiences for all Pixar employees; providing comprehensive, people-focused support. The Production Support Team deploys and supports hardware and software for the Linux operating system.
You are a people-focused leader with a desire to get things done. You provide clear direction and priorities; empowering your team to deliver outstanding support experiences. You encourage them to try new things and to grow.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Cultivate a culture of trust, responsibility, and excellence within the team.
• Manage daily, reactive work while also driving long-term projects to conclusion.
• Develop efficient, repeatable support practices that ensure the consistent delivery of excellent customer service experiences.
• Partner with others throughout the Studio to set shared priorities and resolve escalations.
• Craft clear and concise internal and user-facing documentation.
• Collect user feedback and leverage insights to improve service and support.
• Meet regularly with individuals on the team to seek and deliver candid, empathetic feedback and to find opportunities for career growth.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3+ years in Systems Administration, Engineering, or Engineering Management.
• 3+ years Linux experience.
• Experience with project management, leading technical teams, or coaching/mentoring other team members in a technical area.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills spanning technical and non-technical audiences.
• The organizational ability to multitask effectively.
• Experience in film or television production is a plus.
