Full Time Job
Coordinate mastering operations for Home Entertainment projects. Provide administrative and scheduling support for internal services and external vendors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Enter and maintain data in the Post Production Database. Maintain accurate accounts to reflect scheduled, in-progress, and completed departmental work. Collaborate with manager, Home Entertainment Supervisor, and other members of the team to keep all data accurate and up-to-date in all locations
• Coordinate creation and delivery of Deliverables by working with Post Production, Production, Editorial, Sound, and Media Control
• Ensure Pixar's standard of quality and accuracy of materials prior to delivery
• Familiarity with storage and archiving practices and standards as they apply to physical media (videotape, film) and digital assets
• Coordinate work that enters and leaves the department to ensure completeness
• Provide administrative support as needed to ensure that communications are accurate and complete
• Proactively respond to requests for information and assistance from those within and outside of the department
• Schedule and attend meetings such as Encode Reviews, QC Sessions or Production Review at the request of the Home Entertainment Supervisor and Lead(s). Proactively maintain the calendar with alertness to topics, deadlines and conflicts
• Set up review rooms prior to reviews and sessions. Operate A/V equipment in support of review. Facilitate technical assistance with A/V engineering if necessary
• Schedule and attend internal QCs of completed deliverables (Files, Discs, Subtitle Streams, etc.)
• Travel to and attend external QCs as necessary
• Ensure proper preparation and represent department at meetings and reviews as directed
• Provide Post support for Creative Content Team and special projects as needed
• Record and publish notes from meetings, reviews, and QC sessions that accurately reflect action items
• Familiarity with screening room operations
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• At least one year experience with post production environments, procedures and schedules
• Experience in a support role
• Excellent written and oral communication
• Organized and highly detail-oriented with prompt and thorough follow-through
• Self-starter
• General familiarity with: Macs, video
• Experience with FileMaker Pro, Excel, Confluence Wiki and Word required
• Valid California driver's license required, and access to a car preferred
PHYSICAL FACTORS:
• Frequent to continuous use of computer and office equipment including monitor, keyboard, mouse, phones, etc.
• Willing to work flexible hours (including nights and weekends) and/or overtime on short notice
• Willing to travel as needed, including overnight stay
