Full Time Job
The Creative Services Coordinator will support Pixar's Creative Services Team within the Marketing department. Creative Services produces Pixar film assets for distribution within the worldwide Disney network. This role will coordinate operations and respond to the needs of the Creative Director, managers and support staff.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate the production of film imagery and media for the marketing campaign
• Perform basic Linux command line skills (such as renaming and moving files, file stamps, finding reference materials)
• Work closely with technical artists and production departments to produce campaign imagery for Marketing and Promotions
• Organize, archive, and prepare digital files for the image library
• Act as a liaison between Legacy groups (Consumer Products, Publicity, Interactive, Publishing, Theme Parks, CAP, Creative Content), Feature Production, and Disney's Creative Print Services
• Organize and process digital film reference and digital artwork from feature films, short films, and corporate imagery
• Provide daily support - maintain database, update wiki pages, and manage calendars with attention to deadlines and conflicts
• Seek reference for Disney through image catalogues and the production database
• Securely deliver film assets – CG poses, campaign imagery, backgrounds, digital files (OBJ files), film frames
• Coordinate with Media Control to secure AV materials for distribution
• Watermark and prepare images in Photoshop using correct formatting requirements and color profiles for internal and external use.
• Troubleshoot issues with assets, file conversions, and any production related concerns
• Create and maintain efficiencies across asset development and delivery pipelines
• Coordinate meeting preparation, set up review boards, and perform detailed note-taking
• Support the administrative needs of the team such as (but not limited to) scheduling, photocopying, printing and shipping
• Maintain print vendor relations and prep proofs for team review
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 2-3 years in a creative marketing environment and/or ad agency experience preferred
• Art or graphic design experience a plus. Samples from previous work experience are welcome
• Strong computer technical skills and Mac literacy
• Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite and Keynote proficiency required
• Strong attention to detail with a good eye for visual imagery
• Solid understanding of digital file formats, color profiling, digital file production
• Experience with digital database management
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Adept at working in a fast-paced environment and consistently meeting deadlines
• Willingness to take initiative and resolve problems
