Content Specialist

Full Time Job
Communication and knowledge-sharing are essential to the film-making process at Pixar. As Pixar's Content Specialist you will support exceptional internal communication by improving, maintaining, and curating documentation within our studio intranet.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Curate documentation and websites created by teams throughout the studio
• Partner with studio stakeholders to establish documentation policies
• Maintain and enhance the documentation framework in Confluence, create page and space templates, manage Categories, apply and edit themes
• Create style guides showcasing elegant and effective visual approaches to documentation
• Provide documentation training for new hires, Production teams, and Departments as needed
• Find ways to enhance user experience, identify custom add-ons to the system
• Partner with studio web developers to design and integrate macros, scripts, or plugins that address common documentation needs
• Incorporate different and innovative documentation solutions, including video and images

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
• Deep knowledge of content strategy and documentation best practices
• Experience configuring and customizing a content management system like Confluence or MediaWiki
• Experience maintaining and customizing Confluence theming tools such as Refined
• Passion for information design, clear, effective verbal and visual communication 
• Excellent communicator, highly organized, proven project-management skills

PREFERRED SKILLS:
• Confluence macro or plugin development capability
• Familiarity with Web development tech such as JavaScript/CSS/HTML
• Exposure to the media/entertainment industry
• Graphic design/UI design skills
