Job Title: Assistant to VP, Post Production/Post Producer
Location: Emeryville, CA
Responsibilities:
• Support the VP, Post Production by managing schedules, meetings, and day-to-day operations of the department
• Coordinate dialogue recording sessions, including tests and call sheets
• Arrange travel and accommodations for VP and editorial/music teams
• Manage and reconcile expense reports, invoices, and receipts
• Ensure preparation for meetings and reviews
• Handle phone, email, mail correspondence, and office supply needs
• Organize departmental records in Google Docs
• Special projects as assigned
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information
Qualifications:
• 3 years of experience as an Assistant or Coordinator in post-production, animation, or VFX
• Understanding of production terminology and environment
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Driver’s license and access to a car for travel
Skills:
• High level of confidentiality and professionalism
• Proficient with Excel, Word, G-Suite; project-planning software experience is a plus
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to self-organize and prioritize in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel is a plus
Workplace Expectations:
Onsite 4-5 days per week, with occasional weekends and evenings as needed.
