JOB DESCRIPTION: Executive Assistant - EVP of Physical Production
SUMMARY:
PICTURESTART is seeking an Executive Assistant to the EVP of Physical Production. The ideal candidate is excited to learn about the physical production side of film and TV at a quickly growing media company, has strong attention to detail, and a no task is too big attitude. Candidates ideally have one to two years of Executive Assistant experience at a major studio, agency, production company, or management company.
FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:
PICTURESTART is looking for a full-time Executive Assistant to support the head of Physical Production. Position to start immediately. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Answer high volume of phones, scheduling meetings and maintain phone logs
- Book travel and handle expenses
- Liaise with production offices regarding day-to-day production and legal matters
- Operate office equipment, maintain databases, and navigate shared drives
- Create, format and edit correspondence, run redlines and other written materials including agreements, letters, memos, cover sheets, and other legal documents
- Opportunity to draft agreements
- Maintain standard forms and implement production policies

On the TV side, PICTURESTART is currently in production on GREASE: RISE OF THE PINK LADIES, based on the iconic musical GREASE.
PICTURESTART also has a rich and diverse slate of projects in various stages of development, across film, TV and audio: the highly-anticipated Sue Mengers biopic starring Jennifer Lawrence; the action-packed epic true story about Japan's first African samurai, YASUKE; the high-school-cheating caper remake of the Thai hit BAD GENIUS; and UNPREGNANT, a teen road-trip comedy based on the acclaimed novel written by Jenni Hendriks and Ted Caplan, which premiered on HBO Max in September 2021 - just to name a few!
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- Strong project management, time management, and long-term planning skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task in fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, strategic thinking, and reasoning skills
- Familiarity with Google suite
- Excellent analytical and written skills
- Exhibit a ''no task too big or small'' attitude and a sense of humor
Desired:
- Interest and/or experience in physical production
- Previous experience in Film/TV (e.g., agency, management company, production company, etc.)
