Job Summary:
This position is responsible for leading and planning the billing operations for the newly created company, Picture Shop. The individual is responsible for designing, implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as streamlining effective billing processes. This position is highly visible and requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan, organize, and direct the department.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Oversee and streamline billing and collections processes.
• Assist with the implementation of a new workflow and billing process.
• Month-end closing of the billing group information.
• Manage billing on a daily basis for a variety of shows.
• Reconcile work orders to billed orders.
• Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes
• Obtain revenue by resolving order and invoice disputes; maintains customer relations.
• Knowledge of business management and basic accounting principles to direct the billing and coding to the financials.
• Meets billing operational standards by contributing billing information to strategic plans and reviews; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying billing system improvement.
General Requirements:
• Proven ability to perform strategic planning and priority setting for a billing department.
• Proven track record for improving process efficiencies and solving problems.
• Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate direct reports.
• Detail oriented with an Accounting background.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and internal personal skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Detail oriented and tolerant of frequent interruptions and distractions from Post Supervisors/management.
• Ability to work under minimum supervision and demonstrate strong initiative.
• Ability to supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing and scheduling work assignments to meet practice timelines.
• Ability to deal in an organized manner with problems involving multiple variables within the scope of the position.

Educational Requirements:
Associates degree, preferably in business administration or related field.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience - Minimum of five (5) years Billing and Collections experience preferably in the entertainment field with a deep understanding of billing rules and regulations.
- Two (2) years supervisory or management experience preferred.
- A combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Xytech and/or SAP experience a plus.
- Proficient in excel .
Certificates and Licenses Required:
None.

General office setting; no special requirements.
