This is a Full Time Job
The Phoenix Suns are seeking a detail oriented and driven Payroll Services Coordinator to perform clerical and administrative support functions for the Payroll Services Department. This person will perform functions necessary to maintain accurate, confidential employee records.
What You Will Do:

General and Administration Functions:
• Processes Department mail
• Provides copies of pay statements, w-2s, 1095-Cs and other payroll related documents as requested
• Provides support to employees with Employee Portal
• Maintains Payroll Department files in accordance with record retention policies and applicable federal, state and local regulations
• Processes and/or maintains authorizations and information releases
Data Entry, System Application and Support Functions:
Payroll Administration:
• Maintains employee records in workforce management and HRIS system
• Maintains Pay Work Type Codes in workforce management system
• Follows up with employees on ACH returns
• Issues paycards
• Assists with data entry of payroll items
• Issues payroll related checks to Third Party Payees (i.e. garnishments, charity deductions, etc.)
• Assists with research and tracking of tax notices
Benefits Administration:
• Maintains benefit enrollments for employees and dependents within the vendors' websites
• Prints IDs cards as needed
• Assists with COBRA administration (i.e. required mailings, recording payments, etc.)
Financial Reporting:
• Codes invoices within the invoice processing system
• Assists in preparation of league reports
• Maintains a variety of payroll related tracking spreadsheets
• Assists with preparation Annual Worker's Comp spreadsheets
• Prepares and provides Accounting with required pay period reports
• Assists with preparation of audit requests
What We Need From Our Coordinator:
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word and Excel
• Ability to follow directions, both written and verbal
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of employees' personal data and the Organization's financial data
• Ability to problem solve and make sound decisions
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all staff levels
• Attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize
• Maintains regular attendance
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent education required
• 1-2 years clerical or administrative experience preferred
• UKG (formerly UltiPro) and/or ABIMM experience a plus

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of employee information as well as the financial and other sensitive information of the Organization

• This position maintains regular/traditional business hours with some evenings, weekends and holidays as business needs arise
