Job Purpose
In the role of Group Sales Coordinator, the main job purpose is to help service the Groups team by coordinating all game day group activity and sales events. As well as to serve as a liaison between ticket sales and all other departments within the organization, including the box office, game operations, community relations, marketing, and arena operations.
Primary (Essential) Duties
• Coordinate, confirm, and execute Group Sales Fan Experiences and Events including pre-event coordination with Sales Executives and clients, development of game day outlines, communication with departments involved and day of event support/troubleshooting.
• Manage the Group Sales Fan Experience Calendar, Event Space Calendar, and inventory.
• Serve as the sales departmental liaison for communication between Game Operations, Box Office, Community Relations, Marketing and the Arena for all Group related events.
• Complete daily sales reports, call reports, and other sales reports as needed.
• Oversee and manage Docusign.
• Order game day dinner for sales team prior to all Suns, Mercury, and Rattlers home games.
• Coordinate, confirm, and help execute all group sales new business prospecting and appreciation events.
• Assist other ticket sales department with projects as they arise.
• Create and manage Group Sales collateral and ticket distribution platforms such as Groupmatics.
• Other tasks as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office products such as: Outlook, Word, Excel
• Strong communication skills, positive attitude, and an eagerness to learn are a must
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Knowledge of Ticketmaster, Archtics, Microsoft Dynamics CRM system(s) preferred
• Ability to work as a team player and detail oriented
Experience/Education Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
Working Conditions and Physical Demands:
• Flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, holidays, and some overtime to meet business needs
• Must be available for all Suns, Mercury, and Rattlers home games
• Having reliable transportation in an effort to attend out of the office appointments and events as scheduled
