We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Audio Visual Engineer with the Audio Video Department. This position will be responsible for managing the scoring system deployment for the NBA, WNBA and IFL while also supporting the audio, video and broadcast engineering needs of small events, concerts, and sporting events.

What Will You Do:
• Maintain and deploy scoring equipment for arena sporting events
• Support Chief Technical Engineer in maintaining building AV systems
• Act as backup to other Chief Technical Engineer for sports or special events
• Manage video support for small events around the arena
• Manage and maintain office TV systems and in-house cable services
• Assist AV team members in their roles – mix audio for small events, load content into LED or IPTV systems
• Maintain and repair commonly used cables – coax, fiber, XLR, ethernet
• Other duties as assigned as related to the position
What We Need From Our A / V Engineer:
• Experience in live audio and video production
• Knowledge of audio and video signal flow and radio frequency
• Understanding of control room technology and infrastructure
• Skilled with Dak, OES or Tissot scoring equipment
• Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
• Skilled in verbal and written communication
• Flexibility to adapt to changes due to business needs
• Ability to lift heavy equipment
• Flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings, and some holidays to meet business needs
Experience/ Education Requirements:
• High school diploma required, college degree preferred; 2 or more years of related experience
• Preferred candidates have experience in arena events, sports broadcast, or other forms of live A/V. They will have knowledge of signal flow, can problem solve under pressure, and are used to the time demands of event production.

• Must be able to lift and/ or carry at least 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders and ability to walk on catwalk 90 feet above the ground level and other extreme heights
• Exposed to very loud noises
• Position is predominately computer-based, requiring the use of a computer monitor
• Must be able to carry on a conversation both on the phone and in-person
• Ability to Read, Write & Speak in English
