well established boutique NYC based bi coastal theatrical talent agency since 1986, seeks ambitious individuals for the internship starting immediately. This is an ideal internship for someone interested in ALL aspects of TV, FILM and THEATRE with A LOT of hands-on experience working closely with a theatrical agent
We treat this internship as a serious position with a high level of responsibility.
Previous experience with Breakdown Express/Actors Access and Casting Networks, is a huge plus, but not required.
interns should be detail oriented, comfortable working independent while remote, and eager to learn. Interns will have the opportunity to generate and schedule client auditions as well as coordinating with casting directors and managers so must possess strong verbal and written communication skills. Some responsibilities include, but not limited to: submitting clients for projects via Breakdown Express, reviewing, editing and submitting self-tape auditions, sorting and maintaining office email accounts, maintaining a database of client auditions and appointments and processing thru daily casting breakdowns both in NY and LA.
Candidates would ideally be able to start immediately and make a 2-3-month commitment. Schedules can be somewhat flexible, but we prefer someone who can dedicate 10-12 hours a week.
As this position is unpaid, interns are able to receive credit from their college/university in order to be eligible.
