PHILLY FEATURES IN SEARCH OF PRODUCERS – LINE PRODUCERS – UPM'S

Philly Features is currently searching for qualified people to join a team of local Philadelphia area Producers in moving forward with multiple productions.

Philly Feature's mission is to create a sustainable profitable micro-budget motion picture process that's first writer-driven then direct-driven with strong support from crafts-persons and artists in each and every related discipline (sound design, lighting, production design, editing, etc.) and likewise for the the business side, especially who want to put art into marketing, into finance, into distribution, IT, etc.

Minimum Requirements

1) A schedule that will allow you to work either days or weekends-- the more flexible schedule the better since we don't know when shoots
will be scheduled.

2) One 2-hr meeting every week to help each other develop the skills and resources.

3) Bachelor's Degree or at least 1 years working experience

4) Hard working, willingness to learn and very self-motivated. Must be ready to take on projects and commit to them with a strong passion for the industry.


We are currently looking for:

Producers:
To head production and commit to being responsible for everything from helping with development and pre-production through post-production and marketing.The Producer's responsibility includes everything from securing financial resources, preparing a budget, controlling the overall planning, ensuring compliance with regulations and codes, supporting artists and contributors, supervising the edit and what happens with the final product. We are looking for very creative and extremely organized as well as self-motivated and level-headed individuals, people who can act decisively and sensitively with both the production company and the film in mind.

Line Producers:
To cost, control and organize the budget while working very closely with the Producer, UPM, Director, and AD. We are looking for Line Producers who are well versed in financial management, scheduling, and the entire process of filmmaking. They also need to be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal, as well as a dedicated team-member.

Production Managers:
We are searching for managers to play an important role in helping the Producer, Director, AD and Line Producer. People who can take charge of the entire production schedule as well as making sure the Director and Line Producer have everything they need at an affordable price. The UPM must also be on-set looking over the budget on a daily basis to make sure everything is running smoothly, effeciently and economically. Production managers should be familiar with budgeting and accounting programs, as well as film scheduling and word processing software. They also need to understand the creative and business challenges and know where to find what they need.
