This is a Full Time Unpaid Internship
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Partnership Marketing Summer Associate will support the Corporate Partnerships team in the management and fulfillment of partnership elements both on Phillies game days and non-game days. This position will report to the Manager of Partnership Marketing and plays a critical role in game day execution and support, focusing on delivering a best-in-class partner experience through activations, hospitality, events and more.
This is a seasonal position running from May through August. The person in this role will be expected to work all home games during that time, including nights, weekends, and some holidays. There may also be occasional work on days or during weeks when the team is on the road to support projects and other team needs.
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:
• Provide on-site support for execution of partner gameday assets including onsite activations, hospitality, promotions, etc.
• Work collaboratively with internal groups to ensure smooth execution of partner assets
• Assist with on-site needs for partners and vendors on game days and non-gamedays
• Support additional game day and non-game day events as needed, including community events, non-gameday sponsor events, additional team-hosted programs, etc.
• Establish and maintain positive, professional relationships with Phillies and Major League Baseball staff, fans, clients, and vendors
• Perform other duties as assigned
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
• Currently pursuing or holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Sports Management, Communications, or a related field
• Strong organizational and project management skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners, vendors, and fans
• Solutions-oriented with the ability to exercise sound decision making skills
• Demonstrates professionalism and a high level of attention to detail
• Thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
• Flexible and able to adjust quickly to changes in priorities or scheduling
• Available to work all Phillies home games with daily shifts varying in length of time
• Must be able to work flexible hours to include holidays, weekends, and evenings
• Must have the ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods of time
• Must be able to perform job duties in an outdoor environment and work effectively in varying weather conditions
• Prior experience supporting partnerships or game day operations within a sports environment highly preferred
