Position Overview:
Squad 76 are technically trained, diverse performers who engage fans with charisma, poise, talent, and class. These entertainers are leaders in the community, serving as ambassadors and role models while performing at Philadelphia 76ers home games and events. Performers must be able to quickly learn choreography and execute high-endurance routines while interacting with fans during games, promotions, and appearances.
Responsibilities Include:
• Learn and perform choreography in various dance styles
• Maintain physical endurance for high-intensity routines
• Perform as gymnasts, acrobats, trickers, or break-dancers
• Engage with fans in one-on-one and group environments
• Assist with in-game promotions
• Maintain and clean uniforms for appearances
• Attend rehearsals, appearances, and all Philadelphia 76ers home games
• Execute promotional activities and lead fans in game-day prompts
• Organize props and align them with game-day activities
• Work indoors and sometimes outdoors, away from elements
• Maintain reliable attendance
Working Conditions:
This position generally requires working at the Wells Fargo Center or Philadelphia 76ers offices, with attendance required for arena events or offsite community and member events, including weekends and holidays. Moderate physical exertion may be required.
Qualifications:
• GED or equivalent
