TITLE: Executive Producer / Executive Creative Director - Philadelphia 76ers
LOCATION: Philadelphia, PA
JOB SUMMARY:
The Sixers are creating an in-house video production department. The Executive Producer /Executive Creative Director will be responsible for hiring a staff to oversee the vision, the creative look, and the production of all Philadelphia 76ers video and audio content that is distributed across a range of platforms including in-arena, TV, radio, online, and mobile.
Establish a consistent, world class creative vision and philosophy that ensures that the 76ers video production which includes, but is not limited to, TV commercials and in-game videos and graphics produces elite quality content that enhances the 76ers brand.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
• Establish and drive a world class video content and graphics production vision across in-arena, commercial spots and, when appropriate, digital and audio platforms.
• Hire a department to lead the production, scheduling, shooting, editing, and post production of all Sixers video production.
• Conceive and produce unique video content ideas and strategies to enhance the brand of the Sixers and, when appropriate, create opportunities for corporate partners.
• Build an amazing creative team. Foster a creative culture that empowers both individually and as a collective.
• Collaborate with Game Entertainment department to establish and define an in arena creative look and feel. Create all in game videos and graphics.
• Work closely with Marketing Department to highlight the Sixers brand via TV commercials and create compelling video content to drive ticket sales.
• Oversee the planning and production of gameday video roll-ins, highlight packages and other video pieces for use during 76ers games and events.
• Effectively integrate on court activities, LED ribbon boards, live video, music, and stats integration in 76ers game presentation.
• Collaborate with Corporate Partnership sales and activation to create and execute sponsored, cross-platform, content features that enhance the fan experience, elevate the 76ers brand and deliver on sponsor objectives.
• Manage production equipment inventory and media asset management.
• Develop internal video content to support charitable events, 76ers platforms/promotions and sales.
• Develop and manage annual operating expense budgets.

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Strong understanding of production / post-production process and asset management a must.
2. Experience in video production and non-linear editing a must.
3. Experience as producer, shooter or editor. Able to perform production duties as needed (ie: camera operator, sound recorder, grip and electric, director, producer, writer, etc.).
4. Knowledge of software programs such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop), Final Cut Pro or Avid Media Composer, and Avid Pro Tools preferred.
5. Ability to work event hours - nights and weekends.
6. Self-motivated and extremely resourceful and flexible.
7. Versatile, well organized, responsible and dependable.
8. Four-year degree preferably in Film, Mass Communications or Broadcast Journalism majors.
9. A minimum of Seven years producing video content for broadcast, in arena or online.
10. Understanding of the game of basketball a plus.
