The Legal Department for Phase One Network, Inc. seeks a legal intern for the summer of 2018.
The ideal candidate will be a second or third year law student with an interest in entertainment, music, and/or copyright law.
The legal intern will become familiar with the daily workflow of in-house counsel, assisting the attorney with copyright, licensing,
contract review and drafting, IP, and corporate matters.
Requirements/Qualifications:
• Previous exposure to the entertainment industry and reviewing contracts desirable
• Skill in organizing resources, establishing priorities, and working independently
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Enrolled in a Juris Doctor program at an accredited law school (currently a 2L or 3L student)
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above
• Proficient with Mac OSX and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, and Internet Research
• Must be able to work on-site in New York.
Relaxed office environment, Manhattan location 33rd Street & 9th Ave
Hours of operation are Monday thru Friday 11am to 7:00pm
Salary: non-paid; school credit possible.
