PETROL, a leading full-service advertising agency specializing in progressive marketing for some of the biggest brands in tech, sports, and video gaming-among many more-is seeking an AV Account/Production Assistant. With dedicated departments for print services, motion graphics, AV, social media, interactive/digital, as well as media planning & buying, we regularly develop fully integrated global marketing campaigns for some major brands across genres.
We have an immediate opportunity for an AV Account/Production Assistant with experience working with clients on Audio Visual projects in an agency environment. You will be part of a team developing high-profile AV Content, including but not limited to live-action, animated (CG, motion graphics), and game-play trailers.
At Petrol, our AV assistants are responsible for leading client projects by communicating across all team functions and ensuring project consistency. The AV production assistant works directly with the Director of Creative Development, as well as, has an Account Services mindset to ensure all projects are properly scoped (internally or with third party vendors), trafficked, managed and completed on time and ensuring complete client satisfaction.
The AV Account/Production Assistant will assist with overseeing the daily operations of the Audio Visual Department.
Responsibilities:
Manage staff scheduling
Maintain department databases (SAN, FINISHES, ARCHIVALS)
Compile and share weekly department reports with the greater teams
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisors
Assist in monitoring project budgets, actuals, and trends
Assist in communicating across all functions on the team
May work with process documents and standards
Requirements:
1-2 years' AV experience; preferable in agency setting
Knowledge of video games
Some experience working on Audio/Visual advertising campaigns
Exceptional communication skills - both oral and written
Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail
Flexible and adaptable; able to manage shifting priorities as projects evolve
Must be able to put together a detailed project plan
Will be working with account services, creative, and upper management.
Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Google Docs Editors suite, Premiere Pro and Adobe Photoshop a plus
Experience working with project management software including Asana, Smart Sheet, Slack, Workamajig Creative Pro
Contribute to team culture with positive collaboration
