PETROL, a leading full-service advertising agency specializing in progressive marketing for some of the biggest brands in tech, sports, and video gaming-among many more-is seeking an Associate of Emerging Media.
With dedicated departments for print services, motion graphics, AV, social media, interactive/digital, as well as media planning & buying, we regularly develop fully integrated global marketing campaigns for some major brands across genres. As an Associate of Emerging Media, you will participate in supporting all aspects of executing high profile and complex biddable format campaigns on networks like Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, Reddit, Google, Programmatic etc.
This includes implementation, monitoring, optimization, analysis and reporting. The Associate, Emerging Media reports to the Emerging Media Planner but is also a key resource for each media planner and is expected to support the team in all aspects of executing self-serve auction campaigns.
Responsibilities include the following but not limited to
Having a general understanding of client's business, goals and KPIs.
Developing, growing, and maintaining relationships with internal team and external partners.
Having a general understanding of the dynamic digital ecosystem (search, social, native, display) and how channels work together.
Actively managing biddable formats campaigns to the clients' goals - which may vary from engagement, acquisitions, direct response, reach and frequency, etc.
Conducting and Compiling research for campaigns as needed
Learning best practices and strategies in biddable formats including paid social (betas, ad network updates, innovation opportunities, etc.)
Understanding of the asset and ad copy creation process in relation to the campaign objectives
Assisting with media planning - researching targeting on each platform for campaign strategy, note taking, data entry, compiling ad specs
Learning the full campaign set up process including pixel set up, DCM and UTM tracking, creative uploads, ad creation and trafficking
Compiling UTM tracking links needed for media plans
Working closely with each media planner to keep track of pending items needed from our creative team or from the client to execute campaigns (assets, copy, URLs, tracking, etc)
Assisting with the set up, execution, QA of campaign plans
Management and Optimization
Checking on campaign pacing twice a week
Checking on targeting and ad performance to report back to supervisor
Pausing ads and ad groups accordingly based on supervisor, planner, and analyst recommendations
Adding additional creative or ad copy to active campaigns when applicable
Assisting with compiling screenshots for proof of work
Additional ad hoc tasks as needed.
Understanding of social media platforms, programmatic and Google ads strongly preferred.
Must be detail-oriented and organized.
Ability to work autonomously and taking initiative to seek out solutions when needed
Experience with direct client relationship responsibilities include project management, correspondence, and presentations preferred.
Strong Excel and data visualization skills
Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, under tight deadlines.
Demonstrated excellent analytical and data interpretation skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Final candidates must complete and pass background check.
