Account Executive

Persona PR is seeking an Account Executive to work from our New York City division. Position may support clientele on both coasts (LA + NYC) and include possible travel abroad. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in talent public relations, or comparable position(s) in the entertainment industry with skills that will translate to personal representation.

Account Executives serve as the primary day-to-day contact for multiple clients, while also overseeing Account Coordinators and/or Account Assistants on the team. It is necessary for Account Executives to contribute to the development of new business opportunities for the company, and they are required to be experts in the day to day operations of the clients that are on their list while also building their own relationships with key players in the business, while earning a stellar reputation with important partners on the studio/network/media front.

Job duties will include (but not limited to): pitching media and securing press placements (national and international), on the ground coverage with clients including: red carpet events, photo shoots, press junkets, and all publicity related activities, editorial photo shoot production, experience in awards season support for clientele, experience in protocols with the festival circuit/industry conventions + client support (Sundance, TIFF, Cannes,Tribeca, San Diego and New York Comic Con, to name a few), knowledge of protocols with media outlets, expert in executing and overseeing complex client schedules, travel with clients (national and international), well versed in biographical, pitch, and press release writing, and media training (to name a few).

You must be able to maintain a flexible work schedule to include nights, weekends, and travel with clientele when needed.
