Persona PR is seeking experienced Account Coordinators to join our growing teams in Los Angeles and New York City, in our talent division. From traditional public relations campaigns, to digital strategy, branding, and marketing, we make it our commitment to stay constantly informed in an ever-changing industry.
Talent Division:
Our select clientele in talent include award winning accomplished actors in film, television and theater, writers, directors, producers, musicians, and production companies. We have also worked alongside national and international bestselling authors, spearheading book campaigns and taking them to the New York Times and national bestsellers list. Also housed under our talent division are athletes, corporations, non-profit organizations, lifestyle experts, and fashion clientele.
*This role requires a minimum of 1-3 years working in talent public relations, with an emphasis on campaigns in the film/television/music space.
As an Account Coordinator, job duties include (but are not limited to):
Tracking/monitoring client press, sending press placements to clients
Social media support for clientele
Covering client events, photo shoots, press junkets, and all publicity related activities, staffing red carpet events including award shows, premieres, venue openings and galas
Ongoing research, tracking media contact changes, sharing updated contact information with the LA and NYC teams
Event submissions for talent and follow up
Pitching to media and securing press placements (national and international)
Travel with clients, national and international
Coordinating client schedules, sending memos, and handling complex itineraries
Reaching out for gifting and branding partnerships for clientele
Brainstorming pitch angles and ideas for clients
Biographical, pitch, and press release writing
Interact and coordinate with studios, networks, talent representation, and more.
Relationship building with members of the media, and personal contacts on the talent representation front.
New business ideas and research
Proficient in Cision, Fashion Monitor, and Celebrity Intelligence (and basic Microsoft Office applications)
Relationships and knowledge of the hair, make up, and styling agencies (and the individual artists)
EPK creation and coordination with in house designer
Strong, current media contacts with online media, as well as print, TV and syndicated/satellite radio outlets.
